Quite a shock but, in a very exciting semi final, Matson finally got the edge over the Hill and were victorious by 15 points to -5 which also gave Shaun Knight some bragging rights over Freddie Burns!
So, after an amazing run by Coney Hill it will be a different name on the Senior Cup.
In the other semi final, Old Centralians overcame Gloucester Old Boys 31-8 and will certainly be up for the tough challenge ahead.
The fixtures on Sunday are as follows:
Glanville Cup - Coney Hill v Old Centralians - 10am
Junior Cup - Coney Hill v Widden Old Boys - 4pm
Senior Cup - Matson v Old Centralians - 1pm
Thanks to Worthington's who have sponsored the competition since 1985 and a huge well done to everyone involved in the Gloucester Combination which celebrates its centenrary this year.
