Freddie and older brother Jack were the driving forces behind a fundraising match, staged at the Rec, in aid of Lee who remains in Frenchay Hospital in Bristol.
Freddie and Lee are great friends and were both members of the Bath Rugby Academy in their younger days.
A touch rugby match between the Lee Audis All Stars and the Bath Rugby All Stars was held at the Rec on Sunday with a raffle also raising funds to help the Audis family cope with Lee's situation.
Player from past and present turned out including Matt Perry, Danny Grewcock, Olly Barkley and Davey Wilson for the Bath All Stars.
Meanwhile Freddie, Jack Burns, Billy Burns, Rupert Harden, Dave Lewis and Ollie Phillips represented the Lee Audis All Stars who ran out 30-25 winners.
Freddie explained how initially just making people aware of Lee's accident on Twitter had mushroomed into Sunday's event.
"It's a little bit mind-blowing to be honest, it's surpassed our expectations.
"It's a proud day, obviously a day we would rather not have had, but I'm sure Lee and his family really appreciate everything that everyone has done.
"He's making really good progress, so it's going to be slow and steady but that's what we expected, and he's on the right track. It's a case of sticking by him and hopefully he'll come out of it ok.
"People that we don't even know have called up and donated pretty awesome raffle prizes.
"But then so many people just showed up to support a young rugby player who had suffered a pretty nasty car crash.
"We can't thank everyone enough for that support, it's absolutely amazing.
"I'd just like to thank all the players for getting involved and playing, and also say thanks to all the people who made the journey down from Gloucester.
"We didn't have chance to thank everyone individually because it was a pretty hectic day, but we couldn't have dreamed it would go as well."
Freddie and Jack appeared on BBC Points West on Monday evening and revealed that £9,000 had been raised before Freddie Tweeted on Tuesday that a generous donor had made it up to £10,000!
