Tickets went on sale at 9am on Monday and have surpassed expectations, with the first day numbers dwarfing those for The Wanted concert that was Gloucester Rugby's first live music event last year.
In total, nearly 1400 tickets were sold on the first day with virtually all the VIP seating snapped up. However, with capacity for the concert fixed at 12,000, there is still plenty of general admission availability.
Hospitality suite sales were also brisk with all the boxes in the South Stand, which are head on to the stage, accounted for.
However, a number of boxes for 16 people remain in the West Stand priced at £1500 + VAT. These are at an angle to the stage but offer an uninterrupted view from their own balcony plus a two course meal.
