The likes of the Wallabies, Samoa, Georgia, Ireland, Russia, Tonga, Italy A and the world famous Barbarians have all graced the famous turf.
If anything, there is added significance to the visit of Fiji with Kingsholm having recently being confirmed as being among 17 potential match venues for consideration to host the 48 Rugby World Cup 2015 matches.
The selection process is ongoing as the organisers of Rugby World Cup 2015 work towards a final list of twelve venues, and the Fiji game offers Gloucester Rugby another opportunity to show that it can stage international rugby in style.
Acting Managing Director Chris Ferguson said today:
"We're worked very hard to get this far in the Rugby World Cup 2015 process and are proud to still be under consideration at this stage.
"A lot of work lies ahead of us if we're to make it on to the final list, but the Fiji game affords an opportunity for ourselves and the City to lay down a marker in terms of Kingsholm being a suitable venue for World Cup rugby.
"Hopefully, we'll see a big crowd on the night to watch us take on the Fijians, and show the appetite in the region for international rugby.
"The Fijians will be performing their Bole war-dance after their national anthem, which will be quite a spectacle."
Flying Fijians head coach Inoke Male has named 36 players for the tour which will also see his team take on England on November 10th, Ireland A on November 17th and Georgia on November 24th.
