Questions were put to a panel consisting of Director of Rugby Nigel Davies, Forwards Coach Carl Hogg and Head of Strength and Conditioning Paddy Anson.
The evening was streamed live online, with supporters unable to make the event in person, also encouraged to submit questions via the club's Twitter feed using the hashtag #GlosFansForum
The Twitter feed was then updated at regular intervals to keep the Twitter followers up to speed on proceedings.
Feedback from those watching the web stream was immediately positive, with the ultimate seal of approval given by Club Chairman Ryan Walkinshaw, who was watching from Australia.
Early indications are that more than a thousand people watched the stream online.
Throughout the hour and a half session, Nigel and his fellow coaches answered a steady stream of questions from the audience and also submitted online.
The topics ranged from queries about the club's improved set piece and away form, updates on injuries and player recruitment and retention, insights into the work Paddy and his team do, to Nigel's favourite moment at Gloucester so far (beating Leicester Tigers at home) and why he stands on the touchline rather than watch from the stand!
A summary of most of the responses on the night are available to view on the club's Twitter feed at www.twitter.com/gloucesterrugby
