Ryan Mills has yet to feature at all this season, having had knee surgery during the summer, while Jonny May hasn't played since September and Henry Trinder since the Amlin Challenge Cup fixture away at Mont de Marsan.
All three are now back in training, and Davies is glad to see them back in the mix.
"They're all very, very close. They're training with us and getting involved with contact.
"This week might be a week too soon for them all. But, after that, it'll be great to have some more options because we've been really close to the wire at times in terms of our midfield options."
Davies is looking forward in particular to seeing 20 year old Mills in action:
"It's very exciting to have Ryan back in the mix, he trained very well yesterday. He's very slick, very smooth and he brings a different dimension to the back line again.
"He's got a lot to his game, he's highly skilled, very powerful, a very bright rugby player, so he ticks a lot of the boxes.
"It's a real chance to work with him properly and bring him into our team this season. But I'm sure he'll add to what we've already got."
