Bath Rugby (Pool 4, 24 points), Gloucester Rugby (Pool 1, 22 points), London Wasps (Pool 3, 21 points)
If Stade Francais Paris secure at least a losing bonus point in Round 6 against London Welsh, they will also be guaranteed a quarter-final place as Pool 5 winners.
Gloucester are currently the second seeds, but need a win against Mont-de-Marsan on Saturday (kick off 3pm) to ensure finishing as a higher seed than Perpignan/ Worcester, London Wasps and Stade Francais, and therefore guarantee a home quarter-final.
How they qualify:
The five Amlin Challenge Cup pool winners will qualify for the quarter-finals in April, with the four highest-ranked pool winners having home advantage.
Three Heineken Cup pool runners-up (the third, fourth and fifth best) will also qualify for the Amlin Challenge Cup quarter-finals.
The five pool winners will be determined as follows:
(a) The pool winner will be the club with the highest number of match points in each pool. For the quarter-finals, the pool winners will be ranked 1 to 4 and 8 by reference to the number of match points earned.
(b) If two or more clubs in the same pool are equal on match points, their ranking will be determined by the matches played between the relevant clubs as follows:
(i) the club with the greater number of match points from those matches
(ii) if equal, the club that scored the most tries in those matches
(iii) if equal, the club with the best aggregate points difference from those matches.
(c) If ranking remains unresolved and/or if clubs have not played each other previously in the pool stage, ranking will be determined as follows:
(i) the number of tries scored in the pool stage
(ii) if equal, the best aggregate points difference from the pool stage
(iii) if equal, the club with the fewest number of players suspended for incidents in the pool stage
(iv) if equal, by drawing lots
The qualifiers for the last eight will be ranked as follows:
1 ACC 1 (Top ranked ACC Pool winner)
2 ACC 2 (Second ranked ACC Pool winner)
3 ACC 3 (Third ranked ACC Pool winner)
4 ACC 4 (Fourth ranked ACC Pool winner)
5 Heineken Cup 1
6 Heineken Cup 2
7 Heineken Cup 3
8 ACC 5 (Fifth ranked ACC Pool winner)
The quarter-final pairings will be:
1 (ACC 1) v 8 (ACC 5)
2 (ACC 2) v 7 (Heineken Cup 3)
3 (ACC 3) v 6 (Heineken Cup 2)
4 (ACC 4) v 5 (Heineken Cup 1)
