The day will kick off with the opportunity to watch the second test between the British and Irish Lions and the Qantas Wallabies on a big screen.
There will be plenty to eat and drink in the form of a hog roast, real ales and cider.
U9s and U13s touch rugby competitions will also be taking place and there will be the chance to tour Gloucester Rugby's training facility.
However, the big game of the day, which should kick off at around 2pm, will be the keenly anticipated showdown between the Gloucester and Bristol Legends.
It is hoped that the likes of Simon Amor, Andy Deacon, Thinus Delport, Adam Eustace, Terry Fanolua, Junior Paramore, Rob Thirlby and Trevor Woodman will feature for Gloucester.
The Bristol team is set to feature Ben Breeze, Darren Crompton, Paul Johnstone Gareth Llewellyn, Luke Nabaro, David Rees, Matt Salter, Craig Short and Sean Marsden amongst others.
And bravely volunteering to take the field for both teams are the likes of Jack Adams and Jonny Goodridge.
The event will raise funds for Pied Piper and Restart (The Rugby Players' Association) with a suggested entry donation of £5.
