The tournament organised by Gloucester Rugby Community and sponsored by EDF Energy, is a knockout tournament and runs throughout the season.
First round fixtures will take place during the Autumn school term, which include encounters between Pates Grammar School vs. Thomas Keble School and Churchdown School vs. St Peters High School.
Last year's champions, Chosen Hill, were fortunate to be drawn a bye in the first round, and will look to play the winners of Dene Magna vs. Wyedean.
Bob Fenton, Head of Communications, EDF Energy, said:
"We have a proud record of supporting grassroots rugby and we are pleased to continue to support Gloucester Rugby Community and this tournament.
"This is a great competition for schools across Gloucestershire and we wish them well as they battle it out for a chance to play at Kingsholm."
