Headmaster Alistair Macnaughton said: "It was a pleasure and an honour for our Chamber Choir to be asked to sing at the Heineken Cup fixture on Saturday. A game that was described by many as 'the game of the season' and, as one Munster fan said to me, 'a match between Goliath and his Big Brother!'
"Singing a good variety of songs, both English and Irish, from the traditional 'Danny Boy' to Coldplay's 'Fix You', the Choir gave an excellent account of themselves, leaving me virtually bursting with pride at their talent and sheer confidence in front of thousands of people.
"And was there one favourite moment? It would have to be King's Head Girl, Alex Hewitt, playing an Irish jig on her fiddle as the Munster players ran out of the tunnel onto the pitch.
"It was one of those moments of perfect synchronicity that linger long in the memory!"
Made up of girls and boys aged 14-18 years, Choir members include ex Cathedral Choristers, the pupils rehearse together once a week and are in demand, performing at many musical engagements out of School.
