Head of Science, Mr Andy Moore said: "We have been running this challenge for many years and I'm always really impressed with what the children achieve. This year's challenge tested the children's abilities to communicate ideas, plan and design, construct, and then test a structure/model which itself then had to perform a challenge.
"While there was help and advice available from judges and the assisting staff, the completed challenge was all the work of the children, working together as a team and combining their knowledge. The outcomes were fantastic!"
Schools involved came from Gloucester, Tewkesbury, Cheltenham, the Forest of Dean, Stonehouse and Minchinhampton and after a morning of designing and constructing it was Field Court Juniors who were crowned the overall winners!
