Bryan Redpath

Bryan Redpath

Head Coach

The former Scotland scrum-half retired from playing in May 2005 after a successful professional career that saw him represent Sale, Narbonne, Edinburgh and Melrose, and win 60 international caps in addition to appearing at two Rugby World Cups.

He arrived as backs coach at Gloucester Rugby in the summer of 2005 and was named Head Coach in June 2009 following the departure of Dean Ryan.

In his first season in charge, he guided Gloucester to seventh place in the Guinness Premiership table and to the final of the LV= Cup.

2010-11 saw an even better return as Gloucester finished third in the Aviva Premiership table and won the LV= Cup as they defeated Newcastle Falcons at Franklin's Gardens.

Bryan was kindly sponsored in 2009-10, 2010-11 and once again in 2011-12 by Butler Silcox.
