Gloucester can't make the semi final stages after last week's defeat, but are looking for a strong performance to build momentum ahead of next week's return to Aviva Premiership action.
And, according to Forwards Coach Carl Hogg, there's no such thing as a dead rubber against Bath.
"They're very special fixtures, Gloucester vs Bath, whether it's at Kingsholm or the Rec. There's a traditional local rivalry, a unique occasion, and we're looking forward to it.
"Mathematically, we can't make it through, but Bath have plenty to play for and I'm sure they'll bring a strong side up to Kingsholm.
"But we'll pick a side that will springboard us into next week, and the Premiership fixture against Northampton. We also want to put in a big performance in front of our own supporters. It's a very important game for us."
