One of the cult figures of the Gloucester side, Fanolua signed a new three-year contract in the summer of 2004 that will see the Samoan World Cup star play on to his tenth year with the club in 2007.
With 34 tries in 143 appearances since his debut in 1997, Fanolua is Gloucester’s leading try scorer and appearance maker in the Premiership. He is a cult hero at Kinghsolm and skippered Samoa during their summer World Cup qualifying campaign. May miss the start of the season with a knee injury.
