Player Biog
Wood joined Gloucester’s academy from Radley College and fast became a first team regular.
He was named in the England 2009 summer squad for the matches against the Barbarians and Argentina and signed a new three year deal with the club in January 2010.
Nick also earned selection for the England Saxons squad for the 2010 Churchill Cup.
2010-11 saw a fantastic effort from Nick as he made more than 30 appearances for the first team and he carried this form over into 2011-12 when he was named Player of the Year by the club's supporters and shortlisted for Aviva Premiership Player of the Season.
Celebrated a testimonial season in 2012-13 alongside team mate Alex Brown.
