Back row forward Matt Cox joined Gloucester Rugby from Worcester Warriors in the summer of 2010.
A product of the Worcester Academy, Cox made his England Under 19 debut as a 17 year old in 2006 before going on to help his country win the Home Unions Under 18s tournament.
He then appeared at open side for England in the successful 2008 U20 Six Nations campaign, starting all five games and scoring two tries, was part of the Junior World Cup squad that same year and has also played England Sevens.
All all action flanker, Matt played a key part in two of Gloucester's tries of the season in 2010-11, Eliota Fuimaono-Sapolu's in the LV= Cup Final and Andy Hazell's at Leicester Tigers.
Saw regular action across the back row in 2011-12 and signed a new contract in the spring.
