Gareth, a product of the Gloucester Rugby Academy, moves up to the first team squad for 2012-13.
Capable of playing blindside flanker or number eight, he has been a regular in the A League side and scored a notable try in James Simpson-Daniel's Testimonial game against Russia.
2012-13 has seen Gareth gain some valuable first team experience, including in the Amlin Challenge Cup.
