Tim, a former England U21 international and product of the Leicester Tigers Academy, joined from Nottingham on loan until the end of the 2009-10 season.

An accomplished and composed fly half, he made 45 starts for Nottingham scoring 239 points.

Earlier in his career, spent time in New Zealand playing alongside Rico Gear for Nelson Bay as well deputising for Dan Carter at the Crusaders. Also spent some time at Saracens as cover for the injured Glen Jackson.

Tim's excellent start to his Gloucester career was highlighted by his matchwinning kick away at Harlequins in the LV=Cup and he signed a two year contract with the club in the spring.

Tim was a regular feature in the 2010-11 matchday squad and picked up an LV= Cup winners medal in March.

2011-12 was disrupted by a dislocated thumb in the Heineken Cup against Connacht but signed a new contract in the spring.

2012-13 was also cut short, as a knee injury ruled him out after only 4 appearances.
