England international number eight Ben Morgan moved to Gloucester Rugby from the Scarlets in the summer of 2012.

Morgan, who turned 23 in February, was born in Bristol, educated in Gloucestershire and started his rugby career just down the road with Dursley RFC.

He joined the Scarlets in May 2009 and has gone on to become a first team regular.

He could have qualified for Wales under residency rules but opted to play for England, the country of his birth, and has enjoyed a fine first RBS Six Nations.

Ben fitted in quickly at the club he supported as a boy and helped form a powerful back row unit alongside the likes of Kalamafoni and Qera.

Very much impressed with ball in hand, and scored a memorable hat trick against London Welsh in the LV= Cup.

Ben maintained his place in the England side until suffering an ankle injury but biunced back in style for Gloucester towards the end of the season.
