Kingsholm Concerts: Little Mix and Westlife – Refund Update
21 May 2020
Gloucester Rugby would like to respond following a small number of complaints from customers saying that they have not received a full refund on the tickets they purchased for the Little Mix and Westlife concerts, which were due to take place at Kingsholm this summer.
These concerts were organised and promoted by Music plus Sport Limited (MPS), and tickets were sold subject to MPS’s usual terms and conditions. Gloucester Rugby provided the venue and ticket processing facilities for the concerts, but was not involved in the concerts themselves.
The MPS terms and conditions were available on the Gloucester Rugby website when tickets were purchased, and a link to them is here:
In particular, it was made clear that there was a booking fee of 12%. This was not hidden in any small print, it was clearly shown on all the promotional material. There is a link to an example of that material here:
The proportion of that booking fee which is paid to Gloucester Rugby covers the cost of processing the ticket sales transactions, including credit card fees where applicable.
In addition to the booking fee charged on all tickets, Little Mix also requested a donation of at least 75p per ticket toward the Nordoff Robins Music Therapy Charity. At the band’s request this has not been refunded.
Finally, if customers chose to have the tickets posted to them, then the cost of postage has not been refunded.
Gloucester Rugby has now processed the refunds of the face value of all tickets sold for these concerts. The only customers whom we have not been able to refund are those who have changed their payment card details since purchasing their tickets. We are now telephoning all those customers to obtain their new details and arrange a refund.
Should anyone feel they have not received the correct refund then we would ask them to contact us at Admin@GloucesterRugby.co.uk and we will do our best to help them.
