EDF Energy U14s Schools Cup

The EDF Energy U14s Schools Cup is an annual competition open to all schools across Gloucestershire. It is a straight knockout competition with the final held at Kingsholm Stadium. The winners receive the EDF Energy Cup and £500 prize money and runners up receive £250.

It is an open invitation for schools to enter the competition and a draw is held in September. First round fixtures are then scheduled for October and the competition runs throughout the season with the final held at Kingsholm in March.

“We have a proud record of supporting grassroots rugby and we are pleased to continue to support Gloucester Rugby Community and this tournament. This is a great competition for schools across Gloucestershire and we wish them well as they battle it out for a chance to play at Kingsholm.”

The 2018 tournament concluded at Kingsholm in May 2018 with Sir Thomas Rich’s successfully defending their title.

Land Rover Cup

Premiership Rugby in partnership with Land Rover, are delighted to welcome you to the country’s premier club U11 and U12 rugby competition, Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup.

First delivered in 2008, to date the programme has engaged nearly 68,000 young players providing a competitive experience which is appropriate to their age and stage of development. Young players have the opportunity to play meaningful fixtures all within the spirit of rugby’s core values of Teamwork, Respect, Enjoyment, Discipline and Sportsmanship.

Land Rover have been working in partnership with Premiership Rugby since 2004, investing in all levels of the game, from grassroots to elite.

Engaging nearly 68,000 youngsters with the sport through the Land Rover Premiership Rugby Cup, since its inception, has given the next generation of rugby stars the platform needed to develop their skills and grow the game.

The event format has been specifically created in order to provide a positive experience for young players that is appropriate to their age and stage of development.

The date for this season’s Land Rover Cup is Sunday 19th February 2017.
