EDF Energy U14s Schools Cup

The EDF Energy U14s Schools Cup is an annual competition open to all schools across Gloucestershire. It is a straight knockout competition with the final held at Kingsholm Stadium. The winners receive the EDF Energy Cup and £500 prize money and the runners up, receive £250.

It is an open invitation for schools to enter the competition and a draw is held in September. The first round fixtures are then scheduled for October and the competition runs throughout the season with the final held at Kingsholm in March.

EDF Energy said:

“We have a proud record of supporting grassroots rugby and we are pleased to continue to support Gloucester Rugby Community and this tournament. This is a great competition for schools across Gloucestershire and we wish them well as they battle it out for a chance to play at Kingsholm.”

The 2019 tournament concluded at Kingsholm in May 2019 with Sir Thomas Rich’s successfully defending their title.

Due to COVID, we were unable to play the 2020 final.
