Gloucester Rugby claimed their second bonus point victory of the Premiership Rugby Cup with a 15-29 victory over Bath at The Rec.

Having scored just shy of a half-century in their last game of the competition against Worcester, it was clear from the start that Gloucester wanted to keep the ball in hand and score tries.

Despite considerable pressure from the visiting Cherry & Whites, they found themselves trailing 10-7 at half-time thanks to some resilient defending from Bath in their own 22.

Jake Polledri was the scorer of Gloucester's only try of the first half, whilst George Barton added the extras.

Bath however, held the lead at the break thanks to a Tom Doughty try and five points from the boot of George Worboys.

Gloucester started the second-half firing as they did against Worcester.

Centre Jack Reeves crossed for two tries, adding to his brace last Wednesday, and full-back Kyle Moyle secured the bonus point on the hour mark.

Bath scored a second try of their own through John Stewart, but George Barton's penalty with ten minutes to go made sure the visitors took home all five points in this West Country derby.
