Gloucester Rugby travel to Bath tomorrow in their second fixture of the Premiership Rugby Cup.

The squad includes club captain Lewis Ludlow and England international Jonny May who make their welcome return from injury.

Defence coach Dom Waldouck says the experience they will bring to an otherwise young Premiership Cup squad will be invaluable to the team.

"Obviously the quality they bring is brilliant for the team and the group. Their leadership is important as well, they have trained really well and led really well this week."

Despite the inexperienced squad Waldouck knows the importance of a West Country derby to the Gloucester fans and insists his team will be aiming to give the supporters a performance they can be proud of.

"A big part of being part of this club is the fans and we know how important this fixture is for them, so it's essential we go out there and deliver a performance they can be proud of."

Gloucester come into the game having beaten Worcester in the opening game of the Premiership Cup at Kingsholm last Wednesday. Waldouck added; "I'm really excited, I thought we finished the game really well last week so I'm excited to see the boys kick on from that."
