Gloucester-Hartpury full back Emma Sing says team can't get complacent as they look to continue their unbeaten start to the league season this weekend, against a resilient DMP Sharks.

"DMP have a really good desire to play for each other and big heart. They are bottom of the league, but they'll fight for everything, so we have to go into every game like we are playing a top four team and we have to be at our best in order to get the five points we want."

Last weekend, Gloucester-Hartpury saw off last years Premier 15s winners, Saracens, and Sing was impressed with her sides well rounded performance.

"I thought it was a very good performance from the whole of the team. Our defence was amazing, we didn't let Saracens get any front foot ball and in the backs we shifted the ball from side to side well and the driving maul was really good again."

Despite the 7-53 win, Sing believes there's still improvements that Gloucester-Hartpury can make to perform even better, and the potential excites the 21-year-old.

"We still have stuff to work on. For the last 20 minutes we were pretty much defending in our own 22 the entire time, so going into this week a big focus for us is to put together an 80 minute performance.

"We have Zoe, Tat and Alex coming back in and there's a lot of competition within the squad. No one is guaranteed a shirt which is really exciting."

Sing hopes to end the year on a high with a win in their last game in 2022, and set themselves up nicely for. big game against Worcester in their first game of the new year.

"Hopefully we get the win to go into Christmas and we can have some time off with our families and come back in a good position for a big one against Worcester in the new year. "
