Saracens |

Sarries are six-time Premiership winners, and have been runners-up on four occasions. Since their relegation for breaking salary cap restrictions in 2019/20, they gained promotion back to the Premiership, claiming the Championship title, and reached back-to-back Premiership finals. Saracens have also been successful on the European stage, winning three Champions Cups in four years between 2015 to 2019.

2022/23 - Saracens are the reigning Gallagher Premiership winners, after securing their sixth title against Sale Sharks at Twickenham last season.

The Cherry & Whites were defeated at the death by Saracens in both of their fixtures last season. Jackson Wray's 80th minute secured the Sarries win at the StoneX and an Owen Farrell drop goal defeated the Cherry & Whites at Kingsholm.

Memorable encounter - Gloucester claimed a memorable 54-7 win over Saracens when the two sides met on the final day of the 2021/22 season.

The Cherry & Whites were up 21-0 at the break thanks to tries from Jack Singleton, Jordy Reid and Santi Carreras. Singleton's second and tries for Ollie Thorley, Santi Socino, Louis Rees-Zammit and Jack Clement put the icing non the cake for George Skivington's men, who unfortunately just missed out on a top-four spot.

Players to watch - It's hard to look past the two players that have been nominated for World Rugby Player of the Year an incredible three times. Second-row, Maro Itoje, and Saracens and England skipper Owen Farrell are always instrumental to everything the North Londoners do well.
