After a record comeback win against Wasps at Kingsholm last weekend, Gloucester Rugby travel to the StoneX Stadium to face last seasons finalists Saracens in the third round of the Gallagher Premiership.

Head-coach George Skivington is relishing the opportunity to face a 'star studded' Saracens side, but admits they must improve from last weeks performance.

"You can't be reliant on good second halves to win you games. We were very honest last week and into this week and we know we have to be better than that, especially this week.

"There's not many harder places to go than Saracens and there's not many teams with that calibre of player and that number of them, but we're excited for the challenge."

The Cherry & Whites came away victorious in their meeting at StoneX Stadium last season, but Skivington isn't thinking about that, but concentrating on the here and now.

"We know what we can do but equally Sarries came down here in a quarter-final and blew us out of the water.

"I don't think the game will have any bearing on this one, it's a new season and we are excited to go there and play."
