The Gloucester Rugby U18s team to face Saracens at Stone X Stadium in North London on Saturday has been named by Head Coach, Matt Teague.

Teague's side will be looking to build off of an impressive 48-19 victory over Exeter Chiefs at Kingsholm a fortnight ago.

Tries from Max Knight, Jamie Fallon (x2), Ioan Jones, Ollie Workman, Charlie Rainbird, Rhys Price and Sam Loftus, combined with eight points from the boot of Jones, secured an impressive win for the young Cherry & Whites, as they bounced back from a loss to Harlequins in the previous round of the academy league in style.

The Hartpury College trio of Harrison Bellamy, Jamie Fallon and Berian Watkins form the front row, with Bart Godsell (Marling School) and Ollie Workman (Crypt School) in the boiler house.

Joe Pauling (Hartpury College), Olly Allport (Dean Close) and TJ Fanolua (Cheltenham College) make up the back row.

Hartpury's College's Charlie Rainbird and Dean Close's Billy Benson form the half-backs with Max Knight (Hartpury College) and Ollie Rendell (Sir Thomas Rich's School) in the centres.

Steff Gibson and Jack Cotgreave (both Hartpury College) start on the wings with Ioan Jones of Dean Close captaining the side at full-back.

The replacements are; Sam Loftus (Sir Thomas Rich's School), Ed Wallin (Apprentice), Rio Halavatau (St Peter's), Tom Anson, Solomon Shand, rhys Price (all Hartpury College), Woody Walker (Radley College) and Joe Eves (Hartpury College).

Teague commented:

"We challenged the boys to put in a real Gloucester Rugby performance at Kingsholm against Exeter in round 4, and they certainly achieved that, with great work rate and physicality.

"Our attention now turns to Saracens U18s at the Stone X, which is another fantastic challenge and opportunity for the team to continue to learn and grow together."
