Gloucester Rugby is pleased to reveal that academy graduates Alex Seville and Ciaran Knight have re-signed with their hometown club.

Loosehead prop, Seville, joined Gloucester Rugby’s Senior Academy in 2017 whilst studying at Hartpury College. Seville represented Hartpury in the RFU Championship and also gained international honours with England U20s.

The 24-year-old made his first senior appearance in the 2018/19 season and has pulled on the Cherry & White jersey 43 times to date.

On the other side of the scrum, Knight has made 69 Gloucester Rugby appearances since his 2017 debut.

The 25-year-old is a product of Gloucester’s Matson RFC from whom he joined the Gloucester Rugby Academy from in 2016.

Knight also represented England U20s, playing a key role in their 2017 Six Nations victory.

Gloucester Rugby Head Coach, George Skivington, is pleased to secure the duo’s services for the 2023/24 season.

“Gloucester Rugby has a proud history of producing local talent to come through the pathway and play for the first team.

“Alex and Ciaran have Gloucester in their blood, and it means a huge amount to them to represent the club and the city. We’re pleased for them both to be extending their stay with us.”
