Gloucester Rugby's Lloyd Evans returns to the starting XV for the Cherry & Whites when they welcome two time Gallagher Premiership winners Exeter Chiefs on Friday 28 October (7.45pm KO).

Evans says there's nothing quite like a Friday night kick-off at Kingsholm.

"Friday nights at Kingsholm are always electric. It's going to be a great atmosphere with a full house down at Kingsholm so we are really excited."

The full-back is impressed with Exeter's start to the season but hopes the Cherry & Whites can carry the momentum from winning their last three Premiership fixtures into the game make it four wins from four.

"It's going to be a really physical game. Exeter are going really well this season but we have a good bit of momentum with us so hopefully we can carry that on tonight."

Last weekend, Gloucester beat London Irish 21-22 in Brentford and Evans is proud of the way the Cherry & Whites dug in to come away with four points.

"It was a really physical tough game so we are really happy to come away with the win.

"We are really getting that understanding of how to close out those games after disappointingly missing out against Saracens a few weeks ago.

"We learn't a lot from that game and we have had three tight games since we have come away with the wins so we are building nicely."
