In their final Tyrrells Premier 15s game of 2018, and their last fixture for three weeks, Gloucester-Hartpury entertain Firwood Waterloo Ladies at the Gillman’s Ground on Saturday (kick off 2pm).

Susie Appleby makes several changes to the side that played at Loughborough Lightning last weekend with several players unavailable for selection. However, she is able to name Mo Hunt in the matchday squad for the first time, selecting her amongst the replacements.

Gloucester-Hartpury will be looking to sign off 2018 in style and keep up the chase for an end of season play-off spot. However, Firwood Waterloo Ladies are a steadily improving outfit and will provide a stern test.

Appleby confirmed:

“We are excited to play our final home game before Christmas against Waterloo. Mo has returned from England 7s, and we are delighted she has joined us at Gloucester-Hartpury. Mo is a world class player and will add a wealth of experience to our squad.

“Waterloo are a strong physical side and once again we are looking for a good performance to take us into the Xmas break.

“Injuries and unavailability mean that we have to make several changes to our starting line-up, but we have good depth in the squad and are confident that the girls coming in this weekend will slot in seamlessly.”
