Wing Ollie Thorley believes Gloucester Rugby must raise their performance levels again from their win at StoneX Stadium last season if they want to make it consecutive away wins over Saracens. (Saturday 24 September, KO 3pm).

"We know Sarries are going to be a tough opposition. We know they have some incredibly talented individuals all around the park, so we've really got to bring it.

"Last seasons game was one of our best performances of the season but equally we know they will be formidable opponents. When they came here in the Challenge Cup they showed us up a bit and that's the Sarries we are expecting, so we have to up it."

In their first game of the season, Gloucester came from 21 points down to beat Wasps 27-21 at Kingsholm. Thorley says the Cherry & Whites have had a tough 2 weeks training since the to prepare for Saracens.

"A lot of guys have done a bit of self reflection since then about how we allowed ourselves to get into that position so it doesn't happen again.

"We haven't rested on our laurels these last 10/12 days and theres been a lot of hard training so it's been good."
