As announced back in December, we are delighted that Kingsholm will be the venue for the Final of this season’s Tyrrells Premier 15s, and tickets are now on sale.

We are looking for the support of the whole of Gloucestershire to make this the best attended women’s match in the county ever, so we would really appreciate the support of all to welcome the Women’s Tyrrells Premier 15s Final to Kingsholm!

The tournament is currently taking a short break while the Six Nations takes place, but resumes in March with Gloucester-Hartpury Women in the mix for a place in the end of season play-offs and obviously hoping to make it a ‘home’ Final.

The top four teams in the league table will progress to the semi-final play-offs, played at the home ground of the top two teams on the weekend of 9/10 May with the finalists competing for the title three weeks later on Sunday 31 May 2020 (kick-off 3pm).

In the first two seasons of the Tyrrells Premier 15s, Saracens and Harlequins reached the final with the Allianz Park outfit coming out on top on both occasions.

As things stand, the two London clubs are leading the way once more, with Quins leading the way on 57 points, narrowly ahead of Saracens on 54 points although Sarries have played a game less.

2018/19 semi-finalists Loughborough Lightning currently sit third, while Gloucester-Hartpury are occupying fourth place.

Sean Lynn’s Gloucester-Hartpury Women have already played a number of matches at Kingsholm over the past few seasons, and will next be in action here in a local derby match against Bristol Bears Women on Saturday 11 April 2020 (kick-off 3pm).

But it's the first time that Kingsholm will have hosted the showpiece event, and it’s hoped that local rugby followers, including the ladies and girls of Gloucestershire, will make it an occasion to remember!
