The Gloucester Rugby Academy U18s left Sunbury-on-Thames disappointed on the weekend thanks to a last minute winner from hosts, London South & Central.

The Cherry & Whites, who dominated for large periods of the game, chalked up 33 points, but it wasn't enough to secure them a first league victory of the season.

Tries from Leo Mullis, Louis Callow, Woody Walker (x2) and Tom Phillips and eight points fro the boot of fly-half, Taite Fortey, provided plenty of positives in attack, but Head Coach, Matt Teague says his side were left to rue defensive errors.

"We gave London South & Central too many easy ins, including their last minute winner which left the lads bitterly disappointed having dominated possession throughout."

But Teague is looking forward to seeing his side bounce back in a West Country derby this weekend.

"There's lots of learning and development opportunities from that game, and we can't wait to test that in the derby against Bristol away this Sunday."
