Gloucester Rugby Multi Sports Camp – August 2018
14 August 2018
Gloucester Rugby’s Multi Sports Camp, run by its Community Department, was held at Sir Thomas Rich School last week.
Activities for the week included team building exercises such as mine field, islands, sports circuit, line tag, capture the flag, paper planes and team replay.
There were also sports activities including rugby league, rugby, Gaelic football, football, basketball, rounders, dodgeball and cricket.
The team building exercises were used to build team cohesion, friendship and enjoyment. Playing different sports challenged the skill sets of our participants whilst enjoying themselves in the process.
Four teams competed in all events, with a points table system that was updated each morning.
The week ended with capture the flag using water balloons, a great way to finish off an enjoyable week.
