Mo Hunt and Team GB will kick start their sevens campaign on Thursday when they face the Russian Olympic Committee (ROC) in the opening round of the Tokyo Olympics at 03:00 am BST.
Hunt and the team are then set to face New Zealand and Kenya in Pool A as the side look to improve on their 4th place finish at the Rio Olympics last time out.
Having lost out to Canada in the Bronze medal match in 2016, Team GB will be hoping to go on and compete for a medal in what is set to be a very competitive event.
The Gloucester-Hartpury scrum-half knows what it takes to win competitions and in 2014 she was on the winning side of the Women’s Rugby World Cup final. She won a bronze medal at the Commonwealth Games on Australia’s Gold Coast having represented England at Rugby World Cup Sevens in 2018, so knows what it takes to get a medal at a competitive tournament.
From everyone at Gloucester Rugby, good luck Mo! We will be cheering you on.
