Gloucester Rugby were unable to kick their 2020/21 campaign off with a win but showed plenty of promise in the tough encounter at Welford Road.
What Happened?
Gloucester Rugby scored two tries in their loss at Welford Road but gave away too many penalties meaning Leicester were able to take the victory come the final whistle.
James Hanson scored on his return from injury and it was Joe Simpson who also got over the line for the Cherry and Whites in what were two well worked team tries.
There were plenty of individual highlights with Jordy Reid playing a massive role both in attack and defence.
Leicester Tigers were too strong and scored the bonus point try, continuing their winning record over Gloucester Rugby at Welford Road.

The Gloucester Rugby hooker has been out of action for a while but made an impact in his first game back. Hanson went over from short range off the back of a great run from Val Rapava-Ruskin.
