Gloucester Rugby ended their pre-season with an away win against Coventry in what was a high scoring encounter with 14 tries scored between the two sides.
The Cherry and Whites got over for eight tries with Jake Morris scoring two and Jack Bartlett, Louis Hillman-Cooper, Seb Blake, Jason Woodward, George Barton and Harry Taylor all getting over the whitewash.
It was a valuable experience for the Gloucester Rugby squad which included a mix of youth and experience and proved the opportunity for good game time ahead of the start of the competitive season.
Coventry provided good opposition and were competitive for the full 80 and had the final say with Suva Ma’asi getting over the line for the final try.

Jason Woodward made a break inside the Gloucester Rugby half, offloaded to Alex Morgan who sprinted towards the line before being tackled by the Coventry defence. Just before he was brought to ground, the Welsh winger offloaded back to Woodward who managed to stay infield and went over for the try.
Gloucester Rugby kick off their Gallagher Premiership campaign next weekend with an away trip to Northampton Saints.
