The first points came within the first few minutes of play. A knock on and offside from Worcester, saw Daisy Fahey go straight for points. Giving Gloucester-Hartpury the opening edge. Minutes later Welsh international, Kelsey Jones, came firing off the back of a driving maul to secure the first try of the game. Daisy Fahey adding the extra points. Gloucester-Hartpury showed dominance throughout the first half, forcing errors from Worcester Warriors and showing no mercy. Just before half-time Gloucester-Hartpury used the space outside, getting the ball to Flanker Bethan Lewis who fixed the defence before making a short pass to Ellie Underwood who makes her way over the whitewash. Conversion was missed.
Fighting back early in the second half, Worcester built up the pressure and energy which saw Sioned Harris burrow over the try line. Sarah Nicholas adding the extras. Gloucester-Hartpury had two other try attempts that were disallowed, showing the tenacious character that Worcester had in defence.
Gloucester-Hartpury come away securing another important win, building momentum going into the rest of the season. Next week, DMP Sharks visit the Alpas Arena.
