Ranni only started playing properly 2 years ago, a few weeks after her 21st birthday.
She comes from a rugby orientated family - her Grandad played rugby while he was in the army and became a referee for Wilts and Dorset, her Dad played for Salisbury RFC until his early 20s and her younger brother who is studying at Hartpury has played for Salisbury since he was 12.
Anabelle (Whitecross) & Sam (Johnson) invited Ranni to come up to Gloucester to watch Gloucester-Hartpury play Cheltenham Tigers in their preseason friendly before the 2016/17 season. After the game Susie invited Ranni to training that following week and she has played here ever since and was selected to play for county in her first season.
She originally travelled up to Gloucester from Salisbury three days a week to train and play but moved here after Christmas - the best decision she ever made!
Ranni plays loosehead prop but can play anywhere in the front row if need be.
At the moment she’s working as a sales advisor for an insurance company but is hoping to go back to University to complete a degree in Photojournalism.
