Jack Bartlett is undergoing the transition from a prop forward to a No.8. Having grown up playing at inside centre, No.8, hooker and prop, he has a list of skills that will be useful in his development into the new position.
The son of former Navy prop Nick Bartlett, Jack grew up playing for Cinderford and Lydney at got on Gloucester Rugby’s radar aged 12 through the development pathway programme.
Bartlett has represented England at U18 and U20 level and made his first appearance for Gloucester Rugby’s first team in October 2018.
With limited game time due to the Covid-19 pandemic, Bartlett will be hoping for more opportunities in the future.
