Jason Woodward
Gloucester Rugby moved quickly to secure the services of Jason Woodward when he became available, and the flying fullback returns to the club he supported as a teenager.
An alumni of Hartpury College, Woodward moved back to New Zealand and his career took him to Melbourne Rebels then to Hurricanes where he played a key part in lifting the Super Rugby title in 2016. Jason spent 6 months with Bristol Rugby and moved to Gloucester Rugby ahead of the 2016-17 season.
He made 22 appearances in his first season in Cherry and White, scoring six tries and earned a call up to the England squad to tour South Africa and bettered those figures in 2018-19 as he made 23 appearances and scored eight tries.
Woodward has made the 15 shirt his own and offers stability in the back field.
