The young scrum-half has been involved in the Gloucester Rugby set up since U13 level. An impressive performance for the U18s saw him earn a place in the Gloucester Rugby Academy after helping get the side to the final of the U18 Premiership Rugby competition.
Following that success he got called up to the England U18s and his ability to play all across the backline sets him apart from the rest.
Jones is one of many former Dean Close pupils to join the Gloucester Rugby Academy with the likes of Josh Gray, Freddie Thomas, George Barton and Archie Benson all recently progressing through to the Academy and signing professional contracts.
Jones will now be looking to develop him skills alongside the more senior scrum-halves at the club and push on for more success.
