The tournament was a chance for the RAF to raise awareness about the services and the opportunities available to youngsters playing sport in the RAF. The tournament started well with two teams taking part in a demonstration game allowing the other players to learn some useful tips.
The pool stages of the competition witnessed some fantastic rugby with the winners of Pool A Matson RFC taking on Old Richians RFC in the first semi-final and then Cheltenham RFC taking on Dursley RFC in the second semi-final. The semi finals provided some great rugby with Matson RFC beating Old Richians RFC 4-2 and Cheltenham RFC beating Dursley RFC 3-1.
The grand final was once again a fantastic advert for youth rugby in Gloucestershire with Matson RFC current U15 County Champions edging out the current U16's County Champions Cheltenham RFC 3-2.

Kingsholm Stadium provided a great venue for the young rugby players which they will never forget. Hopefully we can build on this for the future and work even more closely with Gloucester Rugby.
