The Community Department have been busy at events such as 'The Three Counties' and 'The Royal Show' where they have been running skills competitions for youngsters, whilst promoting the club and showcasing the ERC Trophy.
The Three Counties was a huge success with over 1,000 people taking part in the rugby skills competition. The Gloucester Rugby Community stand generated huge interest from fans of all ages.
The Competition Winners were;
- Framed Signed Shirt - Tim Leyes from Gloucester
- Gloucester Signed Ball- Max Philpott from Worcester and Adam Shayle from Gloucester
Gloucester Rugby were the sponsors of this years Royal Show Sevens tournament. A tournament that runs annually and included teams from Hartpury College, Cirencester Agricultural College and a touring side from Fiji. The Tournament was a fantastic spectacle and drew a large crowd who were treated to some great rugby from all sides and also a Fijian Haka.

- The Sevens Winners from Monday were - Hartpury College
Gloucester Rugby players Adam Balding and Terry Sigley were on hand to present the trophy to the winners. Adam said, "the tournament has been brilliant, the players did really well considering the heat. It was fantastic to be invited into the Royal Box to watch the games."

The Community Team will be at more events this summer including the Cheltenham Cricket Festival and The Gloucester Park Festival, so why not come along and say hello!!!
