Gloucester Rugby are looking forward to welcoming the band to Kingsholm for what is anticipated to be a great performance and evening of live music.
The Wanted's music is different from most boy bands as they have their own unique sound this has proved very popular and the boys are already rivalling some of the biggest music acts around today.
The band performing live at Kingsholm this summer is a great opportunity for fans in Gloucestershire and surrounding counties to watch their idols perform locally and there is no doubt that tickets for the event will be popular.
The Wanted are in huge demand already - but they haven't forgotten what got them here in the first place.
"It's about our fans and our music," explains Siva, diplomatically. "We're making a mark with our music and our fans are genuine, honest and it's unbelievable, some of them even shake when they meet us. The fans mean so much."
"The parties and the free drinks are also pretty good," laughs Max. "But the buzz when you walk out on stage is different to anything you could imagine".
"I just can't believe this is happening to us," considers Jay.
While Tom continues, "The fact is we're just five normal lads who have been picked out of a regular background. We're so lucky, it's ridiculous."
"It's amazing. And our music will show off a whole different side to us," finalises 17 year old Nathan from Gloucester.
Pete Grzonka, Gloucester Rugby's Head of Marketing and Sales spoke of his delight at confirming The Wanted as headline act for the first music event at Kingsholm:
"We are extremely delighted to not only be hosting our first concert at Kingsholm Stadium but also to have secured such a high profile band as 'The Wanted' to headline the event. We hope that music fans in the area will jump at the chance of watching such a great band with a local interest perform live on their doorsteps".
"We will be working alongside an experienced production company to ensure that we put on a great show for music fans."
