First up were Bath Rugby and this was a touch and go affair, going right down to the wire. Bath led 10-5 going into the final minutes but, as Gloucester strove to get back on level terms, Bath swooped to clinch a 15-5 win.
The boys bounced back and secured a 20 points to 5 victory over Bristol Rugby in the next match but, weakened by several injuries, slipped to a narrow 10-8 defeat in the final fixture against Saracens.
Academy Manager Mark Cornwell told the club website following the tournament that he was delighted with the progress that the squad have made in recent months.
He lauded their willingness to get stuck in and play physically as well as the shape and structure they brought to their game.
Overall, the work that the boys had put in and the progress they've made was evident on the day but not necessarily reflected in the results.
