It features two flags on a green, the white flag positioned in an easier position than the black one and is played over nine holes. If a player scores a birdie or better when taking on the black flag, then they earn double Stableford points.
Each golfer must take three 'PowerPlays' in the first eight holes. They then have the option of a fourth 'PowerPlay' on the final hole. But if they get a net bogey or worse, they lose points from their total score.
Gloucester Rugby's inaugural PowerPlay event will take place at South Cerney Golf Club, Cirencester on Thursday 29th September.
