Following a succesful eight week league the Gloucester Rugby Summer Touch Programme in Partenership with O2 Choose Rugby came to an exciting end with some outstanding touch being played from all teams that have entered. This year has seen a number of new teams enter the leagues which has made a great influence on the sport growing. The Leagues were well represented with a total of 18 teams enter the leagues (Premiership & Championship).
The Finals of both leagues were well contested by The Acorns and GR Community for the Premiership title whilst Cheltenham Civil Service and Cleeve Crusaders battled it out for the Championship title. The Premiership went to extra time and in the frantic few minutes The Acorns came out the eventual winners 4-3.Whilst in the Championship Cleeve Crusaders came out on top to win 4-2 despite a great effort form new comers Cheltenham Civil Service.
Gloucester Rugby would like to thank Imjin Army Barracks for the use of the playing facilites and also to O2 Choose Rugby for all of the Balls and kit provided. Gloucester Rugby Would also like to thank all of the teams that have entered and all of the officials that have offictiated to make this year succesfull.
