He has featured in 19 of Gloucester's 21 Aviva Premiership Rugby fixtures so far this season although the highlight of the season, in many people's eyes, will be the try he scored in the LV= Cup Final win over the Newcastle Falcons.
At the dinner, held at Kingsholm and MC'd by Jill Douglas, Eliota's exploits were duly recognised as he was named the winner of the Try of the Season, Player of the Season and Players' Player of the Season awards.
Typically humble as he accepted the awards, Eliota 's words of thanks were mainly directed at his team mates who, in his opinion, deserve every bit as much praise.
